How to Enable an SSL Certificate

< 1 min read

An SSL certificate helps secure your website and allows visitors to access it using HTTPS. It also helps build trust with visitors.

Step 1: Log in to your Client Area
Access your Orion Host account.

Client Area:
https://orionhostweb.com/billing/clientarea.php

Step 2: Open your hosting service
Go to Services and select the hosting account connected to your website.

Step 3: Open your hosting control panel
Access cPanel or your hosting control panel.

Step 4: Find the SSL section
Look for SSL/TLS, SSL Manager, AutoSSL, or Let’s Encrypt.

Step 5: Run or enable SSL
Select your domain and activate the SSL certificate.

Step 6: Wait for activation
SSL certificates usually activate quickly, but in some cases it may take longer.

Step 7: Check your website
Visit your website using:

https://yourdomain.com

If the SSL is working, your browser should show a secure connection.

Important:
If your website still shows “Not Secure,” you may need to force HTTPS or update mixed content inside your website.

Still need help?
Open a support ticket and we can check your SSL setup.
